Artist
Wanda Flis : I have been a practicing artist since 1974, working
in many mediums, in particular watercolours. In 1986 I received my Fine
Arts Certificate from Sheridan College.
I have entered many juried shows which resulted in having my work
displayed at the Hamilton Art Gallery on several occasions.
The joy of painting has enabled me to meet an amazing group of artists
and provided me with the opportunity to make some wonderful friends.
The need for continual learning and to challenge myself, has resulted
in my taking many workshops with artists such as Linda Kemp, Judi
Betts, Jean Dobie and Zoltan Szabo, to name a few. Each one has given
me an insight into how amazing watercolours can be and ideas that are
fresh and new.
My goal is to continue painting, experimenting and expanding my
knowlege in the art of Watercolour.
