Judy Horsley - When I retired after teaching for 26 years at
Mohawk College I decided to do something I had long had the desire to
do, but never had the time - take art classes. Fortunately I discovered
Cora Brittan, who not only became my teacher but my friend. Of the many
techniques I have been exposed to in her classes I particularly enjoy
working with gold and silver leaf and coloured inks, One of the nicest
things about these media is that there are so many ways to explore
their use. Birds, butterflies, flowers and sea creatures are amongst my
favourite subjects but there are certainly other areas that draw
(pardon the pun!) me.
