Artist
Jean Rivers : I am privileged to live on a beautiful 43 acre
property near Campbellville and draw on my surroundings for my
inspiration. I began painting in earnest after my retirement six
years ago and have taken numerous courses at Dundas Valley, Halliburton
and Arrowmont Schools of Art. I am particularly drawn to
landscapes and animals and find a special affinity for cows, who make
wonderful subjects with their expressive eyes and natural
curiosity. I have written and illustrated a children's book and
have more in the works.
I am a member of the Fine Arts Society of Milton
